McBrimar was established in Oamaru when, in search of a new home in 2014, Mike Lowe came across a plot of untouched, subdividable land. Knowing of the area’s need for new, warm, comfortable houses, McBrimar Homes was born.

 

Initially founded as a father-son business by Brian and Mike Lowe, the McBrimar team rapidly grew as demand for our builds increased. Now headed by Mike — following Brian’s well-deserved retirement in 2021— McBrimar builds an average of 30 homes per year. And that number’s on the rise.

 

As a registered Master Builder, we uphold the highest craft standards and have earned a reputation for producing quality homes on time and budget. We value our client relationships so ensure we’re alongside you every step of the way, from initial concept plans to move-in day.
